Unstrat: company brief

Unstrat is an independent, non-aligned prime vendor of defence and security capability, representing manufacturers to government and enterprise buyers worldwide. It is not a manufacturer and not a coalition supplier: it takes prime responsibility for capability sourced from independent makers that are not tied to any major-power ecosystem. A buyer can therefore choose the strongest system for the requirement without inheriting a major power's disclosure rules, re-export restrictions, upgrade-locks or political conditions.

The portfolio spans five operating domains. In the land domain it covers surveillance, personal and platform protection, certified energetics and reconfigurable communications. In the maritime domain it covers wide-area ocean surveillance from orbit, satellite-data fish detection and fisheries analytics, and maritime cyber protection. In the air domain it covers the unmanned envelope, ISR, precision effect and counter-UAS, with the operator training that turns aircraft into sovereign capability. In the space domain it covers observation and communications satellites, ground segment, radiation-tolerant electronics and complete programmes structured for national ownership. In the cyber and critical-infrastructure domain it covers defensive operations, authorised offensive assessment and architectures built for disconnected and air-gapped environments.

Unstrat's model rests on accountability. Rather than integrating several foreign primes, a buyer works with one team responsible from first briefing through delivery and in-region sustainment. Engagements involving controlled capabilities are end-use certified: classification and the end-user-certificate chain are confirmed before any capability is represented to a market, and the handling, storage and documentation each destination requires are established up front. Sustainment, lifecycle support and operator and engineering training are delivered in-region rather than remotely, building capability that a buyer owns and can sustain for the long term.

The buyers Unstrat serves are governments, government-adjacent organisations and enterprises worldwide, from the Gulf and North Africa to sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. Their priorities range from border and maritime surveillance to critical-infrastructure resilience, sovereign space capability and supplier diversification away from single-source dependence. Unstrat's role is to match capability to those priorities through one accountable, non-aligned channel, and to keep that capability answerable to the buyer rather than to a foreign vendor's government and its release schedule.
