Where it is used
At 2.0 kg and 327 mm folded, the Concealable variant disappears under a jacket or into a pack yet stays effective beyond 100 m when it comes out. That suits close protection, plain-clothes work and covert roles where a full-size weapon would give the game away before it was needed. The construction that makes this possible is the same across the family: a receiver cut from one block rather than pressed and riveted, which is where the reliability of a carbine is either built in or lost. A weapon meant to ride concealed for hours and work first time out of a holster cannot afford the tolerances a stamped receiver accepts.
The Standard variant at 2.4 kg folds to 373 mm and reaches beyond 70 m, covering the everyday carbine role for special forces and paramilitary units. Ambidextrous cocking and safety mean it handles the same for a left or right-handed shooter, and the double-pull trigger keeps aimed fire honest. The published record behind it is over 2,400 trial rounds without a Class-1 stoppage, followed by service with a national army's special forces and paramilitary units. A buyer should still refuse adjectives and ask for the trial data and the service record, then run its own trial in its own climate with its own ammunition lot, holding every bidder to the same stoppage-classification scheme.
The CQB variant pushes the effective range to 200 m and doubles as a close-quarters carbine at 2.75 kg. Picatinny rails at 12 and 6 o'clock with M-LOK slots at 3 and 9 o'clock take a red dot, a light and a grip, so an entry team configures the weapon for the doorway rather than working around a fixed layout. One platform across three variants means an army, a police force and a protective service can standardise on a single 9 mm weapon family, sharing armourer skills, magazines and accessories rather than maintaining three separate supply chains for what is essentially the same job in three settings.
The second decision is where small-arms programmes usually fail. Buyers worldwide have repeatedly seen deliveries paused, spares withheld or re-export vetoed at the moment of need, and no datasheet warns of it. Independent manufacture outside the major-power blocs removes that lever while keeping every transfer inside classification and end-user-certificate governance. A national police or paramilitary force arming protection and vehicle teams should put the spares commitment, armourer training and in-region turnaround in the contract, not in the brochure, because the weapon that cannot be resupplied is a liability whatever its specification.
A weapon designed with a state laboratory but manufactured by a private company is usually a lower supply risk, provided the manufacturer owns the machining. This carbine is produced by a firm that machines its own parts at a dedicated defence facility, with four decades of precision CNC machine building behind every receiver and its own vendor ecosystem for precision parts. Production capacity, repeatable tolerances and repair sit with the organisation that cuts the metal, which makes a second and third tranche a manufacturing question rather than a diplomatic one. The risk to watch in any small-arms buy is a licensed assembler with no control over its own receiver supply.
Barrel length, overall length, the select-fire mode list, the operating principle and sight radius are not in the public catalogue, and the comparison marks each gap explicitly rather than quietly omitting the row. Those figures are released under a signed enquiry, inside the classification controls that apply to any small-arms transfer. The engagement is structured as a supply relationship that survives a decade of politics: consistent manufacture, spares, armourer training and through-life support in one engagement, with named turnaround times, an in-region repair point, and the end-user-certificate chain documented from the first tranche onward because retrofitting that paperwork is painful.
