Jamming works until the drone stops listening. Our layer keeps shooting.
Aselsan's İHTAR 100 and Meteksan's KAPAN are credible Turkish counter-UAS suites built around radar, cameras and an RF jammer. Our layered system adds kinetic and net effectors that do not depend on the target holding a radio link, and it arrives without an export queue behind it.
This is production equipment rather than a demonstrator: radar, RF and optical sensing, net-capture and kinetic interceptors and a loitering-munition option ship as one supported line, with sustainment placed in the buyer's region instead of a foreign depot.

What the table means
Two Turkish suites, one defeat mechanism
İHTAR 100 and KAPAN are honest, mature designs and their radars are the part most buyers should envy: Ku-band, 360 degrees, micro-Doppler classification of low, slow and small targets. The defeat side is narrower. Both publish an RF jammer as the neutralisation effector, and İHTAR reaches hard kill only by adding ŞAHİN, whose published engagement range is 700 m. A drone flying an inertial or optical profile with no link to break is the case that jamming answers least well. Our layer answers it with a kinetic interceptor and a net.
Cost per engagement decides the campaign
Fortem publishes the numbers that make this concrete: an 18 kg interceptor reloaded in under 3 minutes, chasing at 90 km/h. That is a good machine and a slow one. Against attacks flown in numbers, what matters is how many cheap effectors you can put in the air per minute and how much each one costs. Our answer is many low-cost interceptors under one command layer rather than one scarce airframe per raid.
The condition attached to the sale
Turkish counter-UAS is competent and increasingly available, but it is national industry, sold on national terms and subject to a foreign ministry's view of your next operation. American kit brings its own licence chain. We are not aligned to either capital, spares travel without a third-party veto, and sustainment sits in your region rather than at a factory you cannot visit.
Questions buyers ask
What is the best alternative to Aselsan İHTAR 100 for a government buyer who cannot accept Turkish or American export conditions?
Our layered counter-UAS system covers the same functions: radar, RF and optical detection with AI classification, one command layer, and effectors that engage. The difference is the supply chain behind it. İHTAR is sold by ASELSAN, a Turkish Armed Forces Foundation company, so approvals follow Ankara's foreign policy. We are non-aligned, and the sustainment stock sits in your region.
How does your counter-UAS compare with Meteksan KAPAN on detection range?
Meteksan publishes detection of drones up to 2.5 km for KAPAN. We do not publish a sensor detection range for the integrated system, only effector figures: a 5 km operating radius for the net-capture interceptor and kinetic defeat out to 5 km. Ask us for the radar detection figures in the configuration you are buying rather than assuming parity.
Is jamming or kinetic interception better against drone attacks?
Jamming is cheap per shot and reversible, which is why Aselsan and Meteksan build around it. It weakens against drones on inertial navigation, fibre-optic control or autonomous terminal guidance, and İHTAR's own jammer denies GNSS and Wi-Fi bands while it works, which affects your side too. Kinetic and net effectors are certain against a specific target and cost more per engagement. A serious site buys both layers, which is how our system is configured.
How does cost of ownership compare with Fortem DroneHunter F700?
Fortem's own datasheet sets the recurring cost picture: an 18 kg interceptor, nets and drogue chutes consumed per capture, 75 minutes of battery recharge and reload in under 3 minutes. It is reusable, which is genuinely cheaper than a missile. Our line spreads the cost differently, with low-cost interceptors produced in volume and support based in your country, so the recurring bill is spares and training rather than freight to a foreign depot.
