What the table means
Speed is the whole argument
Fortem is explicit that the F700 switches from attack to defence mode when the target is faster than 25 m/s, which is most things worth intercepting. Wild Hornets solved that with 280 km/h and a warhead, at the cost of the airframe every time. Our interceptor flies at 200 km/h with operator-assisted engagement and can break off and return, which keeps the cost per false alarm at zero.
Reusable, expendable, or both
There is no universally right answer. Against a single intruder over a stadium, a reusable net interceptor is the cheaper and safer tool, and Fortem's under-three-minute reload is genuinely good. Against a Shahed-class target at range, expendability is the point and Ukraine has proved it. A defence that can only do one of these is a defence with a known gap.
What you can actually buy
STING's specification is impressive and its production is committed to a war. Fortem's is American, with the licence chain that implies. Our interceptor is available to non-aligned buyers, produced in volume, and supported where it is used. Note honestly that STING publishes a longer radius, 18.5 km with return against our 2.5 km, and a higher ceiling. If the requirement is deep interception of cruise-profile drones, say so early and we will scope it against the extended-range platform instead.

Which counter-drone interceptor has the lowest cost per engagement?
A reusable interceptor wins when the alarm turns out to be a hobby drone, because you fly home instead of spending the airframe. Fortem publishes reload in under 3 minutes and a 75-minute battery recharge, which sets the practical sortie rate. An expendable interceptor like STING wins when the target is a strike drone worth far more than the interceptor. Ours is configured so an aborted intercept costs nothing but battery, which matters on sites with heavy false-alarm traffic.
Can these interceptors work when GPS is jammed?
Ours is stated to operate in RF and GPS denied conditions, day and night. Fortem publishes AES-128 or AES-256 link encryption but no denied-navigation mode. Wild Hornets publishes ELRS control with digital and analogue video, which is a link, not a navigation solution. If you expect to fight under electronic attack, make denied-navigation behaviour a tested acceptance criterion rather than a brochure line.
