What the table means

These are not competing bids for the same requirement

ANKA-III and KIZILELMA are 7 to 8 tonne jet aircraft with 1.5 tonne payloads, internal weapon bays and combat radii measured in hundreds of kilometres. They are national programmes with the runways, munitions chain and air-force structure that implies. Our low-observable platform is a reduced-signature unmanned system for contested environments, and we do not publish figures in that class. Anyone comparing the two on a single table is comparing a programme with a platform.

Low observability is a claim until someone shows the measurement

Neither Turkish vendor publishes a radar cross-section figure, and neither do we. That is normal, because the number is classified almost everywhere. It also means a datasheet cannot settle the question. Insist on a signature assessment under a classified annex, and treat any vendor who offers a public figure with suspicion.

Political conditions bind hardest at the top of the range

Low-observable aircraft are the most tightly controlled export category there is, and the seller's government decides who receives them and when. Our answer is not to pretend the political question away but to gate it ourselves: representation only after classification and the end-user-certificate chain are confirmed, from a supplier with no major-power ecosystem behind it. What is the best alternative to ANKA-III or KIZILELMA for a buyer who cannot obtain a Western stealth UCAV?

Both Turkish aircraft are formidable and both are national programmes at the 7 to 8 tonne class with 1,500 to 1,600 kg payloads. If your requirement is that scale, they are the realistic options and you should engage them directly. Our low-observable platform is a smaller reduced-signature system for contested environments, from a non-aligned supplier, released only after classification and end-user-certificate checks. It is the right comparison when acquiring a fighter-class UCAV is not politically available to you.

How can a buyer verify a low-observable claim before contract?

Not from any public document. TUSAŞ states low radar observability, Baykar states low radar cross section, and neither publishes a number. Ask for a signature assessment under a classified annex, ask which frequency bands it covers, ask whether the figure is airframe-only or includes payloads and antennas, and require a demonstration against a radar of your choosing. Apply that test to us as well.

What does a low-observable UAS cost to operate compared with a conventional one?

More, in maintenance discipline before anything else. Signature control depends on surfaces, apertures and coatings staying within tolerance, which means inspection regimes and skilled technicians. TUSAŞ notes that ANKA-III shares its avionics architecture and ground segment with ANKA and AKSUNGUR, which is a real cost saving for an existing operator of those types. Ask every supplier what signature maintenance requires and who is permitted to perform it.

Which supplier of a stealth unmanned platform carries the fewest political conditions?

Low observability is the most controlled export category in unmanned aviation, so no supplier is unconditional, including us. The difference is whose conditions apply. Turkish platforms move under Turkish approvals.
