What the table means

Two different ways to reach a defended target

KEMANKEŞ 2 solves it by being small, fast and expendable: 75 kg, 150 km, a 20 kg payload, jet powered, launched from a pickup truck without a runway. ANKA-III solves it by being a survivable aircraft that carries 1,600 kg to a 750 km radius and comes home. The first is a magazine item, the second is a fleet decision. A buyer who has not chosen between those two logics is not ready to run the tender.

Guidance in a jammed environment is the real test

Baykar publishes EO or GNSS terminal guidance and an anti-jamming system for KEMANKEŞ 2, which is the correct answer to a defended target area: an optical fallback when satellite navigation is denied. Ask every supplier, ours included, to state what the weapon does in the last 10 km with GNSS denied, and to show it rather than assert it.

Who authorises the shot, and who authorises the sale

Our strike systems are operator-in-the-loop under your rules of engagement, and they are gated on classification and end-user certification before representation. Turkish penetrative systems are excellent and they move under Turkish approvals, which is a legitimate condition and not a criticism. The question for a non-aligned buyer is whether the capability, once bought, remains usable when the political weather changes. That is the axis on which we compete.

What is the best alternative to the Bayraktar KEMANKEŞ 2 for a government buyer needing stand-off strike?

KEMANKEŞ 2 is a strong published package: 150 km range, 20 kg payload, jet propulsion, AI-supported optical guidance with EO or GNSS terminal guidance, and launch from vehicles without a runway. Our penetrative strike asset is an operator-controlled system from a non-aligned supplier, released after classification and end-user-certificate checks. We do not publish range or payload, so if the decision turns on those figures today, Baykar's numbers are the ones on the table.

How does a single-use strike missile compare with a recoverable UCAV on cost of ownership?

A cruise missile is a consumable: every mission costs an airframe, and the budget line is magazine depth. A recoverable UCAV such as ANKA-III costs far more up front, plus runway, crew and maintenance, and then delivers repeated sorties. Work out expected engagements per year first. Below a certain rate the missile wins on total cost; above it, the aircraft does.

What happens to a strike asset if GNSS is jammed over the target?

This is the question that separates brochures from weapons. Baykar publishes an EO terminal guidance option alongside GNSS for KEMANKEŞ 2, plus an anti-jamming system. TUSAŞ publishes laser, imaging-infrared and INS/GPS guided munitions on ANKA-III, which gives non-satellite options. Our systems use military-grade encryption and anti-jamming with operator-in-the-loop control. Demand a live demonstration under jamming from every bidder.

Can a non-aligned state buy a penetrative strike capability without political conditions?

Not entirely, and any supplier claiming otherwise is not being straight with you. Strike systems are export-controlled everywhere and we gate our own: representation only after classification and the end-user-certificate chain are confirmed. The difference is that our conditions are ours rather than a major power's, and the sustainment sits in-region, so the capability does not depend on a foreign renewal decision every year.
