Best rapidly deployable counter-drone system

How do you protect a base against a drone swarm?
With several effectors in the air at once, cued by sensing that has already classified the tracks. One premium interceptor protects a patrol base against a single intruder; it does not answer twenty airframes arriving together. That arithmetic is why the pod carries compact, tactical and extended-range interceptors rather than one airframe, under a command layer that allocates them.

Counter-swarm system for a forward operating base
A forward base needs the sensing and the defeat layer to arrive together and to move on the same order. The pod configuration is specified for fixed-site, forward-operating-base, border, urban and mobile protection, with rapid setup and relocation. Where weight rather than depth is the constraint, Fortem's two-person 89 kg kit is the lighter comparison, at one interceptor per kit.
Integrated counter-UAS package that avoids multi-vendor integration risk
Most counter-drone programmes fail at the seams: radar from one supplier, jammer from another, C2 from a third, integration from a fourth. Fortem, Aselsan and Meteksan all sell integrated suites, which is the right instinct. Ours goes further by including three interceptor sizes and the pod that carries them, so the handover from track to engagement is tested by the manufacturer rather than by your programme office.
Counter-drone protection for critical infrastructure that has to move between sites
Relocatable protection suits estates where the risk shifts: a refinery this quarter, a port terminal the next. Do we still need kinetic interceptors if we already own a jammer-based counter-drone system?
Yes, if you expect autonomous or fibre-controlled drones. KAPAN and İHTAR both use RF jamming as the neutralisation effector, and jamming acts on links and satellite navigation. Aselsan's own answer to that gap is to integrate the ŞAHİN 40 mm gun, effective to 700 m. Our pods carry the kinetic layer inside the same system rather than as a separate procurement and a second integration contract.
Counter-drone pods for border and remote-area protection without fixed infrastructure
Remote frontages rarely have a mast, a power feed or a fibre run, so the system has to bring its own. The pod carries EOIR and radar with 360 degree, 24/7, all-weather coverage plus the interceptors and the command layer, and is specified for border and mobile protection with rapid relocation. What it does not yet publish is autonomy on its own power, which you should ask about for unmanned sites.

For benchmarking, Meteksan publishes up to 2.5 km for KAPAN and Fortem 2 to 3.5 km against Group 1 and 2 drones in the man-portable configuration. How long does the pod take to set up, what does it weigh, and how many interceptors does it carry?
Those three figures are gaps in our published data and we list them openly rather than estimating. Fortem is admirably specific by comparison: 89 kg across two people, one DroneHunter in a hard case, four hours per hot-swappable battery set. Put setup time from arrival to first track, transport footprint and interceptor count into the tender as measured criteria, and hold every vendor including us to answering them.
How does a pod-deployed counter-swarm system compare with Aselsan İHTAR 100 on procurement terms?
Technically İHTAR 100 is strong: a Ku-band radar scanning 360 degrees at 30 rpm, thermal and day cameras, and a C2 running threat evaluation and effector allocation. Commercially it is Turkish state-linked industry, and Aselsan's own datasheets identify it as a Turkish Armed Forces Foundation company, so deliveries, spares and upgrades follow Ankara's foreign policy. We are non-aligned, with sustainment stock held in your country.
Can one pod protect a whole city, or do we need several, and how do they work together?
Several, and the honest reason is geometry rather than sales. Sensor coverage and effector reach both fall away with distance and terrain, so urban protection means overlapping pods with a shared picture. The system is specified as scalable for static and mobile operations, and the counter-swarm command layer above it exists to hold one picture across sites rather than several disconnected ones.

What power and crew does a pod need to keep running through a sustained attack?
We do not publish power draw, battery autonomy or crew size for the pod, and we list those as gaps. Fortem publishes four hours per battery set, or dedicated power, for its man-portable kit, and Aselsan claims İHTAR 100 operates with minimum operator intervention. Sustained defence is decided by exactly these unglamorous figures, so make power, endurance and crew rotation part of the trial rather than the paperwork.
Is the pod system delivered as a working product, or assembled from parts after contract signature?
